Howdy everyone.

Going to bring my yearling (13.2hh traditional cob) out to two or tree shows this summer. I have an IW 505 with a partition. Someone suggested I would I be better off buying a single breastbar and travelling her with no partition. As she's still small I was hoping I could train her (have loads of time) to be comfortable with the partition. She leads well and ties up etc.

Max journey is 45 minutes.

What do we think?! Thanks in advance for any advice

We never travelled youngsters with a partition or tied up. We shut all top doors and drove extremely slowly. We also blocked off the front breast bar so nothing could go underneath. We never had any issues.

Personally, I travel yearlings loose.
I do have extra security bolts added to the jockey door though.
