We're (fingers crossed!) buying a youngster and need to travel him back to ours at the end of the month. He's been loaded before but not travelled, and although he's well handled has never worn any boots or similar.
We'll be collecting him in an equitrek trailer, and the journey is about an hour. Should I buy some travelling boots and ask the vendor to get him used to them at home or will he be better without?
Our other horse refuses to wear travelling boots, so I don't even have an old soft pair. However, I do travel her in sport boots, might these be better?
