Hi guys

I’ve just bought my 1st 7.5 Horsebox it doesn’t have a cut through &. I’m thinking of doing the living with forward and backward facing bench seats with a table in the middle to convert into a bed with seat belts for little ones. Does anyone know if I have to get a cut through to be legal?

A friend of mine built a horsebox. He did the living with a set of bench seats from a transit, sprinter and these came with seatbelts. He fitted them in & it was perfectly legal to carry people in those seats. Those who carry people sitting on bench seats in the living without seatbelts are doing it illegally.

What age we talking? If little enough to still require car seats it's a whole other ballache. I regularly see an "influencer" post videos travelling with babies in a lorry and the car seat set up makes me feel ill ?
