Travelling Help - one horse in a 3 horse lorry

As per the title really.

Hypothetically, if you were travelling one horse in a 3 horse horsebox where would you position him? nearer the ramp or nearer the driver?

I always travel one in the middle on a slight herringbone, if travelling two the second goes nearest the ramp.
