My horse travels ok (bangs around corners now and again) in a trailer but always seems to bang his hip bone making it sore on the partition. I have stitched on a poly pad on the side of his fleece rug, but now its abit warmer hes getting too hot travelling in a rug.
Has anyone got any ideas what i can attach to the partition to make it softer/nicer for him to lean on?
I have an ifor williams 510 trailer.
Thank you

a few people have said this to me but im abit worried about doing that. He really leans on the partition and the side, goes round a tight corner and then bangs (loudly!). Surely if i take the partition out he will try and lean, have nothing to lean on and then fall? Has anyone tried this?

you could glue some thick memory foam onto the partition with carpet glue or copydex type stuff. but might be worth a short run with no partition to see if he balances better? if you have access to a full width breast bar.
