Travelling Herringbone-Does anyone angle 'forwards' rather than 'backwards'?

Hi Guys!
Need some advice with travelling our long-in-the-back-used-to-a-trailer-mare.
If we pur her in a lorry for the first time can we angle the partitions slightly forward hoping she would find it more comfortable and give the the extra room on the angle?
I'm thinking of getting a herringbone box and ours our used to forward facing. As she is so big wouldn't want to travel completely sideways. Not sure she would like to be angled to the rear.

Or does this sound completely dumb!!
