Do any of you guys travel your horse/pony in a Renault master van conversion(rear facing) without the partition?
iv not traveled either of my mares yet but have been told they both travel better without partitions. In my box there would be nothing stoping them from leaning on the side ramp so I’m reluctant to travel them without the partition. Id only be traveling one of them at a time as as a pair they would put me over weight.
Also considering having my partition adjusted so they have more room but not free rein.
Your thoughts and input would be muchly appreciated

I did for a long time when just travelling one sensible horse - made it so much easier to move around the horse for tacking up etc. Not sure I would risk it with 2 horses though?

Tied with cross ties. Also had a pair of lightweight swinging ramp doors that could be left done up if the ramp was down.

I haven't done that but could you move the partition so that it was close to the side ramp? i certainly wouldn't want to have it removed completely.
At the moment it will only move to a few inches from centre, I’ll enquire about getting it moved to the end near the side ramp

I wouldn’t travel them together, it would put me over weight.
I’ll enquire about getting some swinging ramp doors or having my partition moved to the end near the doors
