Can you travel your horse in a turnout rug..... its raining and i mean to be going to a show tomora but when i travel in the trailer i have to have the window open because she is naughty other wise ..so can you ?

Assuming it's the back window you've got open, would the rain still get in? But to answer the question I would think it would be ok as long as it's a thin one so she wouldn't get too hot?

yeh the back windows are open but i have got to have the front window open (where the ramp is) because otherwise she has a panic

Well I have on numerous occasions without any incident. But I only do short trips -max 1/2 hour type journeys. Why not take something lighter as well, just in case it's too hot for them, so they could have something lighter on the return journey if necessary. Oh, and full neck rugs, I would always turn the neck back for a trailer trip.

please don't travel with the front top door open it is so dangerous for your horse. things get thrown up from the road. On narrow lanes branches will poke through, she will get dust and worse in her eyes. if you have an accident and your trailer goes over some part of her body will come out of that front top door - or the trailer will buckle at the front as the top door adds to the overall strength of the trailer and will protect her in the event of an accident.

If she messes around then leave her to it - she will stop eventually. It is far safer her messing around and being alive

Travelled my boy to his new home last week in a turnout rug about 150 miles - he was fine,
