Please can you tell me what you travel in (ie trailer or lorry) what rugs you use when travelling when it's very cold, and also whether your horse is clipped

Just want to make sure I won't be over or under rugging!
Thanks
ETS to say horse is fully clipped 8yo TB, travelling in an IW trailer, mainly on motorway. What rugs would you use?

I travel mine in a fleece (it's fairly thick). I was always told that travelling a horse is like working it at a slow trot, I have no idea whether this is true or not but if so I figure they keep pretty warm keeping their balance!

Would also take a medium weight rug with me to put on if he's standing around on the trailer.

Meant to add this is with a fully clipped horse!

I travelled my boy in winter in a wagon with a thermatex on, he was clipped. Autumn time, its a fleece and summer nothing at all.

Fully clipped horse travelling in lorry(an old one, nothing flash so a bit drafty(sp?)) and she usually wears 1/2 fleece rugs with her duvet rug with neck on top of them. She has never arrived sweaty but she is a complete wuss with the cold weather!

Fully clipped ned in a wagon, travel in a thermatex but with a window slightly open to keep an airflow. But he is a "warm" ned that I have to be careful not to over-rug
