Soooo... now my puppy is getting older and is regularly going to dog training its time I got her out more on my own. Currently we put her crate in the back of my mums car but it doesnt fit in mine even with the seats down!

I have a vauxhall corsa so thinking perhaps a sloping crate might fit! I want to have a crate I can keep in the car so I can take her down the farm daily.

How do you all transport your precious pups? :)

why bother with a crate why not get a dog guard? That way she can have all the boot. if you get a good one it is totally fixed, and then put in a rubber tray.
my pup learned the word stay as one of his first words, and he will sit in the boot with the door open, you can also get a second guard, which fits just inside the tail gate, so permenantly fixed.

One of mine is a bit of a tinker and would eat the boot before we had got to the bottom of our drive so a dog guard wasn't an option for us. We have a lintran dog box in one car which is brilliant, it's fibreglass so it's easy to clean, when they shake mud everywhere the box seems to catch it. It has lockable doors so you can leave the boot open if necessary.
I have a taller box in the back of my 4x4 which isn't as posh as the lintran one but does the job. I kept an eye out on eBay for one with the right measurements, it was a bargain. There is just enough room for a pair of Wellies and a bowl and a bottle of water to fit down the side of the crate on the wheel arch.

We've got a Safe Dog double xl (old style not the new 3G) crate that fits really nicely in the boot of our Renault Kangoo. It's handy as it can be divided into two easily so our eldest can have one side to himself when we need to transport them all together.
