Hi, just wondered if anyone has used morrors when travelling? My horse doesn't travel well on his own and had heard/thought they might help?

My mirror is brilliant in the stable but not tried a full size one in our lorry as we don't have a suitable flat area to put it except small piece in partition which keeps heads apart.I have cut [ with electric tile cutter]a piece and put it in but our horse still scraps the floor ,he is a good traveller anyway just paws the ground when we stop anywhere

We have a trailer mirror. We bought it for a youngster who would kick up a right fuss travelling on his own (and I mean jumping over the breast bar and trying to get through the open jockey door panicking!!). To be honest I think it helped a bit, although I didnt see a MASSIVE improvement in him once I installed it. Its hard to tell because he'd started to improve a bit by the time I got the mirror. One of my other horses would neigh to the mirror when she loaded everytime! Was very funny, it was her pal!

I think it kept mine a little more quiet if we had to stop for a while (like a traffic jam) when normally they'd start to get impatient. We took it down though because it started to fall off!! I have one here if you want to buy it!

I was thinking of getting one for my lorry (bought a travelling companion instead!) but wasn't sure where to fit it. I have the usual herring bone partitions with bars by head area. Does anyone have any sugggestions as i would still like to give it a go. Thanks.
