Hi all,

Poor Fred is now in the process of being referred to Glasgow (thankyou for your recommendations) and I am already worried about getting there

My main issue is whether the journey there, treatment and journey back will be too much for him in one day. The journey will take roughly three hours, treatment two-ish and another three back. Fred is a fabulous traveller and resonably calm (unlike myself) but is eight hours too much or should I leave him over night at the horspital???

I am such a FAIRY

If you take into account an average competition where you travel, compete and then travel home again, I would say no, it doesn't sound excessive.

Having said that, I don't know the reason behind his referral and whether he would be fit (in the health sense) to do this.

It it were me, I would rather do it all in one, if possible rather than stay overnight - that brings stresses of its' own kind when in a strange place.
