Travel Lodge sale started 6am this morning. Have just booked rooms for £19 and £29 per night for my Badminton pilgrimage. Worth a look if anyone is thinking of going but hasn't booked accomodation yet.

oh my god, how rude! i already booked the travelodge near badminton and i had to pay more than that! grr!

Does anyone know which travel lodge is the closest ?
Trying to book somewhere and last year it didnt really go to plan

I would NEVER use Travelodge again, ever.

I booked a room to go to HOYS at Birmingham couple of years ago. When I booked, I stated I would arrive after 10pm as I was travelling down after work.

We (my mother and I) arrived, knackered, around 11pm as it was a 4hr drive, to be told our there was no room for us!

Travelodge overbook as a rule to allow for people not turning up! Our room was double booked and therefore someone else got it before us.
We were stranded in a strange place at 11pm with no alternative accommodation. An absolutely disgusting practise with only a begrudging apology when I complained to head office when I got back.
