Treating New Saddle not in SY as no one viewing

OK Guys have remortgaged the cat for my new Albion K2 GP.
I have Albion Balm but should I treat saddle with oil as well.
My leanin is towards Oil the underside and then balm on the whole lot ??

No, do NOT use oil on it anywhere. use the Balm you have.

Echo Moke DO NOT use oil on any of it, especially not on the underside. you will ruin the leather making it far to soft and take the life out of it.

Oops too late but I didnt use tons just one coat underneath.
