Treating sarcoids with iridium wires

My youngster is due to go into Leahurst to have a sarcoid on his eyelid treated with iridium wires - has anyone had any experience of this treatment?
 
Hi, My boy came back from this last week and I know there's a thread on here with info from other people I'll dig it out for you! So far so good other than a gammy looking eye :)
 
My mare had laser surgery to remove a sarcoid from her eyelid in November 09. She went off to Rossdales. They wouldn't use the creams as it's too close to the eye and risky. They didn't want to use the wires on her as she could rub her head and cause more problems - so went for the surgery. Healed up amazingly, you cannot see ANYTHING at all. And touch wood - nothing has come back...
