Treatment for bruising

My horse has been kicked. Vet and chiro have seen him and no injury other than a small cut and bruising. He is putting weight on the area now but is still tender on it at times. Does anyone know of any remedy that would help the recovery of the bruising ?

Arnica is great for bruising

Ditto arnica - can be fed and also administered in cream form. Witchhazel is also good for bruises.

Arnica's great but don't put it on the open cut though - witch hazel ok & you can feed the arnica tabs - they work better the sooner they're given after the kick.

I always use arnica in a tincture form, so it can be given orally or rubbed on the bruise, as long as there isn't broken skin. Another brilliant thing is apium cream, I've got rid of a capped hock with that, not an easy thing!PM me if you want a supplier.
