Originally we thought they were warts or poss nettle rash and were going to wait til they grew and tie them off with cat gut but, they are too small and spreading in small clusters on our yearling so wondered what effective treatment you can recommend? We have been advised to try Camrosa ointment, but am wondering if best just to get the vet out ?

Nothing! They should be what are called milk warts and most yearlings get them at some stage; they invariably disappear on their own. I wouldn't get the vet out especially for them but you can always ask them if you're worried.

As above. Our yearling has just started developing and they're just youngster warts. Completely harmless and will disappear on their own. Don't put anything on them.

OK thanks both. They look like little barnacle bumps you'd find at a rockpool, and certainly aren't bothering him, so will leave them go for a little more and see.
