I've bitten the bullet and made an offer on a Barefoot London on fleabay!

Never seen one, no idea if it will fit...I must of lost the plot!

On a serious note, I'm hoping if I buy the wider and soft pommels that are available along with the pad it comes with I should have half a chance, its the latest model.

But its my husbands fault though, he said just buy it I'm sick of you moping about not being able to ride, so I asked him if he could afford it LOL.

Bless him, he's getting it for my birthday, he said if it doesn't fit I'll make the bloody thing fit....I've got vissions of him taking his tool box down and a handful of spanners and disecting Mackenzie!

Wish me luck I think I'll need it.

That's very brave!!
Good luck though. I'm sure it'll be great when it gets here, that's hoping that you don't get outbid at the last minute on fleabay!! It drives me mad when you think something is in the bag and some fecker comes along and bids a tiny bit more in the last 2 seconds!!

Ha haa don't be saying that, he'll be chopping bits of my backside as well lol.

Mrs M, if it doesn't there could be a divorce on the cards!

Kenzo - I got my new cheyenne drytex on wednesday (posted from Germany in three days ) and I absolutely LOVE it. It fits Shy like a glove, has fab wither and spine clearance, and it fits my bum too (size 2 of course).

We also got the leather dressage girth (on the fence about it tbh), and the special pad, which is lovely.

I really, really hope your BF works for you, this is my fifth and VERY last treeless saddle. The rest are going on ebay. If something goes wrong now, I'll toddle back to Thorowgood.

Good luck, sm xxxxxx

Chickeninabun - yes there is that, so won't get too excited yet, knowing my luck that is what will happen.

I wont be able to sleep! lol

Shysmum - glad to here you love yours and it fits well, I'm hoping the size 1 will fit me ok, apparently that are the equivalent of a 17" I think...I hope! I'm sure that's what I read.

Oh god, bit worried now, what if its too small for me.

Arr right I see, the HM seat saver sounds like a good idea, didn't realise you could fit them onto those so that's handy to know, I wonder if when thinking about it, perhaps the HM seat saver will also cushion the weight/pressure from the riders seat, which could also benefit the comfort for the horse as well as the rider on a treeless do you think?

ooooooo not sure tbh !! I've just ridden in mine for 11 years now, and I slap one on every saddle I ride on, (inc RDA) I have 2 now, as I have such a dodgy back.

Yes I think it may well add it's own shock absorbancy, hadn't occured to me :)
