Treeless Saddle dressage rules

I picked up a Torsion saddle leaflet that says it is Dressage Legal.

I'm doing an unaffiliated dressage comp under dressage rules, so does anyone know the wording regarding treeless saddles, as I will be using mine and I expect some "kind" person will be asking if it is allowed.

I know I have been able to ride in my Barefoot saddle (very similar style to the Torsion) at RC horse trials dressage with no problems, as long as it is 'english style' I don't think theres'a a prob? Don't know official BD line though, can you ring organisers and check?

As far as I know you can use a treeless at any level BD, I have been using mine up to Medium and no one has ever said anything.

My friend uses hers for unaff and area riding club and never had any probs - I think its a Heather Moffet (Sp) saddle

My copy of the BD rulebook says "Treeless saddles are permitted".

So as long as it is of standard design and not Western look-alike, then it will be OK.
