Just wondering if there is anyone out there, that actually has a small supply that you can try different types to make sure all ok buying? As I'm worried if I go this way I will get something wrong and my bum won't fit etc.. Not only that there is so many I don't know what make/style is/would be the best for my cob.
my local places don't have any or even accept them as far as I'm aware.
I don't know Anyone who has one or getting one.
I only go hacking/fun rides so not looking for posh but don't want cheapie dodgy ones either.
.. Is it a matter of buying & hoping it's ok :0(.

Depends what you're looking at - the heather moffett saddles are available through your local agent, most of whom will have at least a vogue and flexee for you to try. Ive heard of a lady who does keep a few treeless, Sam something , but last time she went out to someone I knew who wanted treeless she didnt have any !

I was thinking exactly the same thing when I bought mine.

In the end I decided to take the risk. I did as much research as I possibly could and in the end decided to get a second hand barefoot cheyenne. At least, if I didn't like it I could sell it for the same amount I bought it for and try something else.

Sounds like a long-winded process, but I actually loved the saddle straight away so no need to try anything else.

If I had all the money in the world I would get a solutions saddle though... they look amazing!

Only agents I have seen are ones from the brand website, and I was hoping to not get lots of different agents out to see.
But I have heard the heather one is quite good.

I got one on trial for a week from www.bettersaddles.com and got my chiro/saddle fitter to look at it during that week before I committed to buy.

I have a normal girth, but different stirrup leathers with Barnes buckles and a barefoot physio saddle pad on my barefoot London saddle :)
