When we first got Micks he had a maxam saddle, but it didn't suit him and he was uncomfy in it. I bought a suede saddle pad (he's shetland) which improved his way of going no end. He was so much happier in it.

Last week he broke it (incident which involved him being lunged, him deciding he'd had enough, taking off, through the fence..... little sod!) , and although it's repairable, I've decided that as the little shetland needs a saddle now he's broken in, I'll buy Micks a new one.

It needs to be no bigger than 15 inches, either suede or leather (not synthetic or felt, though felt underside is fine), and most importantly take a proper girth. Needs to be brown /havana for showing.

Last but not least, with the old one in for repair (I swear he knew it was easter holidays and didn't want to do any work!) I haven't loads to spend so can't stretch to a new milner one. Probably have £150 tops.

any ideas???
