I've been looking at treeless saddle for my youngster.

The easytrek saddle looks the best as it would allow me to do everything that i could in a normal conventional saddle whereas i've heard that other treeless saddles can limit what you can do.

However my boy is on 13.1/13.2 and the site says that this particular saddle fits horses from 14hh-17hh. And the olny other saddle i've found that may fit my boy are child saddles and even though im a size 8 im not quite sure my bum would fit in a childs saddle lol

Soo i was wondering if anyone had any ideas about a treeless saddle for ponies. And also whether people could share their experiences with me, good or bad?

There are somew which are not treeless but are hinged, not sure of make, I used one on shetland, I know they come in different seat sizes and are gp style. I found mine on ebay.

I only have experience of Torsions, which are supposed to be fine on ponies as well. I had one which was equivalent to a size 10 for me (which I think was a 16") - I was fine in that although I was a 12. BUT although my 15h welsh x mare was fine it it, my 15:1 arab mare who was quite short coupled wasn't, it was way too long. They seem to be longer saddles than a standard one which has always made me doubt if they would be any good on a pony as mine should have been ok on anything from a 14hh. So definitely try before you buy!
