Trekking in Essex

Hi all,

My friends and I would love to go horse trekking in Essex or East London way. None of us can ride so we are just looking for a nice walk for complete novices.

If anyone knows of anything like this in our area, any suggestions of where we should go would be very much appreciated, and any tips on what to look out for (I'm thinking safety wise - certificates, insurance etc) that a good place should offer.

Best bet would be to find a yard in Epping forest, I have gone blank to names though will have a think otherwise have a look on www.bhs.org.uk

Try High Beech riding school. They hack out and do lessons.

As Theresa F said, there is High Beech Riding school or the Queen Elizabeth riding school. Both based in Epping Forest.
