Trial Insurance

Im not aware of anything like that, most insurance policies don’t actually cover you for injury in the first fortnight anyway so not sure how this would work, did you find anything?
 
If the horse is already insured it would be better to keep that running and the owners tell their insurance company and you pay any excess

The ones I've had cover you for injuries in the first month but not for other things.

I've had the option to change my mind and cancel within the first 14 days of taking out a policy so that might be doable.
