Has anyone had a go at this? Would love to hear experiences :)

Possibly a bit ridiculous for me to think about, but my logic here is maybe I will be less nervous if I've had a go at being on a horse upside down or hanging off the side on purpose?! I do aerial circus stuff so I would hope some transferrable skills there!

It's either this or a confidence 1-day course as I've got a £50 voucher for Knights of Middle England to use and it's already 6-months in to the 12 before it expires. I need to just get on and book something!

Yes, I had a stunt man come here to give me a lesson. He could vault on, I needed a shove LOL. I managed to lay flat at 90 degrees to my horse. I then carried a lance.

2nd lesson, I took H there. We did the lance again and the quintain. H learned to canter at it, and stay solid as the ball whizzed round his backside.

3rd lesson, we did sword work too. A sort of extreme handy pony course including lots of things.
