Hi,
I've read through a few old threads over small hole haynets, and everything I seem to read confirms how great trickle nets are.
I finally convinced myself to buy one in November and not even 6 months down the line I've got my third hole in it.
The first time it got a hole in, Trickle Net sent me a patch repair kit which I've now used on hole 1 and 2 and hole 3 which I discovered this morning I've patched up with some twine for now.
I've previously used Elim-a-nets which don't slow my cob down, but I've had it 2 years now and she never broke it. Also tried the Shires one and that doesn't slow us down either so not really fit for the purpose I want them for. I always feed a normal net and then the trickle net is supposed to be what she can nibble on overnight because she eats her full haynet in less than 2 hours..
Has anyone else had problems with Trickle Nets breaking so often? I just hate the idea of her stood from 7pm till 6am with nothing.
