Hello! Was thinking of getting a tricklenet for my fatty but as I make up his nets for the week on a Sunday I'm not sure if it'll work for me. Obviously buying 5 is out if the question!! If I make up his usual nets can I just put them inside the tricklenet of an evening or will it be impossible for him to get any out? What does everyone else do?!

Thanks guys!

No you couldn't do that as you are right, he would be unable to get the hay out. The mesh is much heavier and thicker than other nets and the holes are the optimum size for slowing them down whilst still allowing them to get hay out.

I agree with Wagtial.
I have one, I make mine up on the morning.

They are worth the extra effort, mine has been brilliant and well worth the money!

Get some Ikea large size blue carry bags (40p each) and put the required amount hay for each net in them (they take up to three good sized sections) then just put the hay and the bag into the net and whip the bag out - takes seconds, no mess and a cheap alternative to buying multiple nets.

We always use Ikea bags to handle hay - they're so cheap and easy to handle.

Ditto. I've found as the mesh is so thick, they stay open well and are easy to fill. Far quicker than trying to co-ordinate triple haylage nets at 6 in the morning, in the dark.
