I need some advise please....
I feed my 14.2 chunky cob in her stable so she can eat in peace from all the other ponies trying to steal if from her.
Once she has finished and she see's the other horses walk off - she panics - tries to bash the door in and tries to jump over the door (which is impossible as should wouldn't fit lol)
She has done this twice now and grazed her legs doing it.
She is literally only in the stable for about 10 mins and is fine when the horses are there - it's just when they walk off and I am round the corner doing hay nets.
This concerns me incase there is a time when she needs to stay in - I am worried she is going to get stuck half way over the door or do some damage to herself - is there anything i can do to prevent her from hurting herself??
Thanks in advance :-)

You could try putting an 'anti weave' grill up - if the horse still tries to persist in getting her legs over you can get inserts to go with the grill.

The horse does not know she will not fit through the gap. Plenty of horses try to get through jockey doors/windows etc. Anywhere they can see light will do if they re intent on getting out.

You need a full grill or a change of routine to avoid what could be a major incident.

Thank you everyone!! I shall invest in a grill for the stable door!!

I am in an unfortunate situation when the horses in the field are not seperate from the stables & yard.

Thanks so much for the advise everyone
