Not wishing to feed our troll anymore I've started a new thread. Can I just ask how you report abuse on the forum? or trolling?!!

Also advice to future Trolls - please don't pick such disgusting topics as animal cruelty. People really do care on here which is a good thing if you are ever at your wits end with your horse so write such *****e just really pees us all off!!

Only the initial post when it was about 2 pages in. When I got back from riding and it was 20 pages it was a little more obvious. The extra two threads were just pathetic.

So enlighten me what other trolls have you read on here? And why is it called trolling?!

I have only seen the one before about horsey people shopping in Tescos!

I'm not sure why they are called Trolls, I don't know of any other forum that calls "time wasters" this?
However a Troll is just a person that has nothing better to do than make up stories to provoke people.
They enjoy either sitting back and letting other people argue over their posts or join in to add fuel to the fire.
Normally they are Sussd

The thing about attention seeking behaviour - is that people doing it thrive on attention.

So if everyone just ignored them, they'd go away! Some of those posts that have now been deleted were 10 pages long - giving the weird person starting them the kick they were after.

I think I am too innocent minded to come up with something witty enough to provoke such arguments!!! lol!!!
It is quite sad they have nothing better to do! I struggle to keep up with reading a lot of the genuine and interesting posts on here!!

I must be a complete cynic, I read the initial post when it was up to 3 pages long, didn't read any responses and backed out because it was obviously a load of tripe.

If people would stop replying to them, then they will not get the attention they seek.

I'm afraid to say, some posters fall to the same level as the troll....sure, you might get annoyed to realise it was a troll, but shrug your shoulders and leave it, or else you sink into the gutter, like they already have done.

I actually find most trolls to be pretty good fun, but this one was a bit sinister to be honest. Made me concerned that this individual might actually get his/her sick kicks out of abusing animals like that in the first place, and get even higher knowing that they could write about it and get a reaction also. Hence I did press the report button.
