Have been looking on the website for me and daisy, the events we want to see seem to be available, but as she is 6 , the say there are concessions, but I can't see where you put that in, what do bands, abcd mean? And why do some only have band a?

When I bought mine earlier, there were boxes to choose which price band (A,B,C or D) you wanted and then separate boxes for the number of were full price or OAP or children's tickets you were booking. I don't think every session has the concessionary prices on them - and if the boxes aren't appearing at the bottom, or some of the price bands aren't appearing, I think that probably means they've gone already... :(

From the website

Tickets in price category A will provide seating that generally offers a better view of the field of play than tickets in price category C at the same session and venue. All ticket price categories will provide a great Games experience. Your application is for tickets in particular price categories rather than for specific seats. All tickets are for reserved seating in a venue unless general admission is stated. Reserved seating means that each individual ticket is assigned a specific seat in the venue and only the ticket holder may occupy the seat. General admission means that you can choose your seat, in the price category you have purchased, on a first come, first served basis, or it allows you entry into a venue in which standing is permitted.

Just had neither look, and you are right no concession available, so just deciding wether it is worth just getting 2 full priced tickets? She wants to go, but I wonder if she will truly understand that it is a very special occasion?

Or just stick to burghley ?

Thoughts....

I think it depends what events you are trying to get tickets for too as they are selling out fast! It looks like they are available until you click request tickets, then it tells you if there available (or in my case sorry non available!!)
