Hello, can anyone please help, i am looking for a genuine cob to gain my confidence back after several bad riding/groundwork accidents, can anyone reccomend any dealers?? or any for sale in the Devon area, please help me as i am getting extremely desperate and have come across 3 dodgy dealers in the last 2 days already !!! thanks for reading xx

D6 you NEED a cob, for weight carrying purposes?
S6me cobs have an over developed sense of humour and are not the paragons of virtue that people think they are, confusing a bit of stubborness with obedience and quietness.

Thye are often more likely to be bargy 6n the ground too-
I have cobs, but would not say they are suitable for a nervous rider as they would take the mickey.

I;d llok for a native cross sort- perhaps of small riding club horse type, with manners and experience of behaving well.

I agree with LCobby, some cobs have are not as safe as they seem, I know of a few coloured ones which would try most peoples patience.

Have you tried Tregurtha Stud in Cornwall - they sometimes have a few nice horses and seem to be fairly genuine with good trial facilities?
