I have just been told that my mare was used as a broodmare most of her life until a few years ago in Wales. Her name then was - SEREN. She is now 14 yrs, Black with 3 white socks, 15.2HH.

Please do get in contact if you have info as I would love to see one of her babies!!

Many thanks,
Emma:D

If she has a WPCS passport it'll have her past owners in there & possibly the stud name. Looking on here will be like looking for a needle in a haystack, there & thousands upon thousands on section D's around so best way is back through previous owners to the ones that used her as a broodmare. Good luck!

Thanks for this. However, unfortunately all I have in her passport in one previous owner who did not use her as a broodmare. I do have the stud name though in the middle pages so shall have a look down this route too!

Ta,
Emma

I'd start with the stud name I think.
Easier than searching for the name, lots of blacks called Seren!

Have you any idea how many horses are called Seren?!;) :)

It is a very common name in Wales, it means Star, hence often used for horses with a star/blaze.

I know who owned this horse, but obviously I cannot pass on some one elses details. Therefore, what I suggest you do is join the Forum Board whiteblazes.co.uk, and ask on there, the board owner owned her.
