Would love to just hear how she's doing and generally stay in contact where possible, as if she ever came up for sale again I'd have her back in a heartbeat ;) I know she's out competing, but it'd be lovely to hear how her new owner finds her.

I'm fairly sure she's registered with BE. There can't be too many grey mares called Koora out there! (I have been doing some searching :p) And wondered if there's any way I might be able to contact them via BE? I know that they are unlikely to give me the owners details, but does anyone know if maybe they would be able to pass on MY details if the owners fancy contacting me?
Or any other suggestions??

She was sold on and sold on again fairly soon after (owner moved abroad I think) hence not being able to stay in contact with the people who took her on.

If anyone could help it really would be much appreciated (:

Thanks,
Sol x.

Theres one mare on the BE website called Koora, born in 2003? Is that her? If it is then she has been competing this year. I would personally get the name off of the BE site and see if said person had a facebook account and try and contact them through that.

Koora III is what she appears to be registered as....
I haven't got (or didn't have until just now!) facebook but I'm giving it a go - bit embarassed that I can't use it though :o
Thanks! :)

Above mare is mentioned in that article with HH :)

Taking BE90 section D after finishing on a total score of 33.5, 12-year-old Harry Harding is probably one of the youngest male riders to win their very first BE event.

Partnering Koora III, a seven-year-old grey Connemara mare, Harry, of Newton Abbot, South Devon, is intent on pursuing his eventing dream.

"After the useful dressage mark the pressure was on to go clear in the showjumping and then I knew Koora would give me a great cross-country ride," said Harry, who is a member of the South Devon West Pony Club and is trained by his mother Nicky, with additional help from Wiltshire-based Alice Peternell.

Alice is lovely - if i were you i would e-mail here asking to pass on contact details if possible :)

I'm actually crying.... I've been trying to find out for certain for months now and watching her BE record online to see how she does, trying to find photos (all a bit stalker-ish, sorry, but couldn't think how else to go about it!) and I'm so sure it's her....

Have now got facebook and tried that route, will give it a few days and then maybe try contacting via PC or Alice....

Thanks so much everyone for your help (: She really did (does still!) mean the world to me, she was the most amazing little XC horse I've ever sat on and the only thing I ever improved with her was her dressage :o (she improved my jumping!)
I'm so sure it's her, and if not, she certainly has a twin! :p *fingers crossed!!*

Well, I hope it his her, sounds likely. That has got to be one of the easiet horse tracings on record, lol! Wish my old boy was so easy to find. Keep us updated on whether u have a response. Turns out he is local to me and competes in alot of BE's that I have been to watch friends in in the last few months so I have probably seen them and not noticed. We actually have a mutual friend on facebook too. Small world!!!

haha, true! Thank you again (:
The world is indeed small, not quite small enough though as they're a fair way from me! Koora obviously likes to travel :p Good luck on finding you old horse too (:

I so hope that it is her! I know who I sold my last horse to, but he has stopped returning emails and calls - bad times! I know that you have no rights over a horse after you sell it, but just to know they are OK is all I want.

Seems to be :D I haven't actually had a reply of the lad who appears to have her yet, but we'll hopefully know so, so soon!!
Aww, you never know, maybe at some point (: They have your details presumably so there's always a chance!
Yep, even just a quick message or anything would be lovely. Obviously I know she's still around but it's just a bit more personal to hear from her owner rather than just looking at her BE record or whatever! I know that we were never really meant to get along (horse and rider with the same personality, it either went brilliantly or didn't happen!) so I'm glad she's doing well with someone, but she was still amazing to me (:
