Hey up....

I wonder what you all make of this - its literally in its early stages and not yet launched - well consider this as a little launch perhaps! I made a website to help people get out and about a bit more. I also wanted to learn how to make a website so this was my excuse. I was stuck when I first got my youngster (a few years ago now) and found it hard to get to places. Now I am independent I'd still always rather train and compete with others if not for the enjoyment/company but for the safety of it. I have friends who keep their horses at home and find that they want to go xc schooling but are alone . Some pay for expensive clinics when they could school round the course themselves because its somewhere where others will be. Perhaps training could be planned through this or lifts etc? Even just sharing info on what's going on?

I have my own transport and find I have always got people keen to take my other space whenever I go anywhere and without it would have no transport so I am positive I am not alone in this. Anyway, have a look and see what you think? I want to put together a comprehensive directory for people to find training/competition venues but that will come. Do you think it would help? Fancy getting started on the first few posts and seeing if it catches on? All feedback welcome - please don't be too mean.

Enjoy xx

Brilliant idea, I'm on a lovely yard but they are all happy hackers and I have no transport so limited to local riding club field only. This website could really help.

Great idea as far as I am concerned - I am currently a lift blagger and lorry stealer... but when I do eventually have my own transport I will always be more than happy to help people out as I know what a pain in the bum it is to be transportless!

great idea!! Im always trying to beg steel and borrow people to come and help me at shows. This weekend is a prime example! Im going all the way up to Sykehouse with one horse for the Amateur HOYS qualifier and i cant get anyone to come with me to do warm up fences :( very frustrating!
