Trying to get jobs done with a helper 🐈‍⬛ 🤣

Yesterday I did fling this stable rug down on the yard (naughty) when whizzing about doing other jobs, then found this when I came back a few minutes later to sort it out properly.



Half an hour later, back at the house, I opened the back door to find this. Large cardboard box which I'd temporarily filed outside before breaking it up for the recycling. Cat apparently can't read as the box had recently been used for the 'chuck' part of a keep or chuck kitchen clear out .

I spend most of my time mucking out, poo picking, turning out/bringing in etc with this addition on my shoulder.... its not the fastest way to work!

My cats are very good at helping when I work from home. One of them likes to climb on me to get a good view of the screen to make sure I'm doing it right!

This is pretty standard here , sit down for two minutes and Bob gets on your lap , put your iPad down and there’s a grey cat sitting on it .
turn round to get a shirt to iron and a cat will lying on the ironing board Etc etc.

Heard on the wireless yesterday that France has not had any significant rainfall for 31 days.

Farmers are already talking about the risk of a drought this coming summer and lack of grass for livestock.

Mine waits until I have to have a rest and then sits heavily on my lap. Any effort to move produces a sharp claws-out manoeuvre. That's my excuse anyway. He is Very Heavy, after all . . .

Also why cats get locked out of the gym… and because I’m easily distracted by cats.

He loves the long dry grass under the hedge, my neighbour complained that my long grass with my tulips in as apparently the rats are using it (not the massive hedges and outbuildings on his property). I'm not sure whether the fact the cat sits there means that there won't be rats as he'll scare them off or that there is but he'll be catching them and bringing them into my house

Cat sculptures were a car boot find. You get a lot of elegance for 50p at a car boot sale.
