Trying to get rubbers into my irons GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Has anyone, Ever tryed to get a set of rubbers into a set of irons GRRRRrrrrrrrrrrr I have got them in now but will they lay flat NO NO NO NOP, has anyone got any idea's as to how I can get them to lay flat I have stamped on them and everything with no joy wish I had never pulled out the old rubbers now.......lol HELP HELP....

OOOH, it's the most infuriating thing, as is getting new hard leather all attatched together!! Have you tried maybe putting vaseline on the part of the iron or the rubber parts...

good luck....is there no guy about to help!?!

I had to cut mine in the end in order to lay flat and then keep some very heavy objects on them for a few days

Put styrups and rubbers in hot water for a few mins and wrap em with an old bandage till they are cool.
That should mould them better.

Yes, agree with the comment about immersing them in fairly hot water - to soften the rubber up.

i think reign stoppers and martingale rubbers are the worst!! i had to get my friends other half to do it the vice!!!! i have no patience with that stuff!!

yeh I put mine in hot water - annoying process though
