Hi
I am looking for some advice pls, I have an 11 yr old 13.2 mare who is my daughters pony, about 3 weeks ago I called the vet as she was really tucked up and a bit lethargic I was advised to worm with Equine Guard for 5 days as the vet thought it was red worms, took some blood and there was nothing untoward in the results.
She immediatley perked up her coat returned to its usual glossy self her eyes sparkled and she was herself again, however towards the end of last week she started to look tucked up again and this morning she looked quite bad, she isn't colicy and is full of beans I have gently lunged her today and she was fine.
Food wise she has a slice of hay in the morning, a bowl of High Fi Light in the evening and more hay.
I have phoned vet and am awaiting a call but would just like some other ideas please as I am starting to blame myself even though I have done nothing different to her routine etc.
