Ive noticed my welsh a's been a little tucked up every morning before she goes out.
Could this be stress?
Shes on her own but whinneys to Hon and always gets a reply has a big haynet and likit and she seems fine. But shes tucked up every morning,
Now i have absolutly no idea about why it could be ..?

First little bits of cold weather taking it's toll? a little nippy over night if in a draughty stable?

OR, equally, too warm, if rugged up?

Some can just be a bit stressed when being kept in and it is the stressing/worrying that does it. If she is whinnying a lot it would suggest that she is stressed and worrying about being shut up on her own. My mare gets tucked up because her only companion is out in the paddock which surrounds her stable at night and she can't always see where she is so she does worry a bit.
Can you move your pony's friends nearer to her stable?

Actually, why not try a stable mirror so she thinks she has a companion?

How long has she been in?has she lived out all summer? How far away from her is her friend?is her bed messy in a morning?Only ask this as if she shouting for her friend she could be getting stressed, some do especially as she is shouting for her and getting her mate shouting back, and routine change can stress some out, usually take a couple wks but they settle!
Has there been alot of fireworks going off around your area?this too can stress them out!
They can be like people, some show distinct signs of stress, others only mild!
