I'm undecded which boots to get, want something that is hard wearing and comfy to work all day in and easy to do lots of walking in as well as riding.
I spend my life in wellies but find my legs are really tired at the end of the day from walking in them, have some ariat h2os which are great but as they are only short and sometimes I have to just jump on a horse and no time to put chaps on so they're not very good for riding in.
Can anyone advise me which to get, really like the 2 above especially the tuffa boots but wondered which boots people could reccommend.
Thanks

Yes thanks Papafrita, I'd heard that too, I'd never get round to getting them fixed either. When I used to work as a groom I wore mountain horse boots and found them great to work in but went through a pair every 6 months. which is why I'm a bit reluctant to get them again, though it was 10 tears ago.
I really need to get out of my wellies though. What do grooms wear nowadays?

The Tuffa Suffolk look WAY nicer imho, and are more versatile as they look great with more or less anything. The Mountain Rider are fab, but are a riding boot and nothing else.

I have the Tuffa Norfolk boots for riding in, and they are great, but I want a pair of the Suffolks for general use.

I have both these boots

The black MH are still in their box after a year waiting for the day to be worn as "best"

The Tuffa Suffolks are worn every day as I've given up on wellies

Would say that they are heavier to walk in than wellies though, so if your legs are tried now they may not be the best choice

and I think they are too chuncky to ride in. Might have to get a pair of the Tuffa country riders - have you seen them ? they seem to be best of both worlds

They most comfortable boots I've had to walk and ride in are Dublin Valley Boots

I've lived in my Tuffa Suffolks for 2 and a half years now and they are still going strong! So comfy! I ride in them and they are chunky but don't cause me a problem.
