Has any had experience with tumours in horses?
I currently have a horse in training with a german rider, and just recently my horse had a little lump removed from his leg.
Last night the rider rung to tell me that after examination the vet has said that it is a tumour 'of the good kind', which I take to mean benign.
My rider then told me that the vets advice was to give him a series of injections, which was the best treatment option available in his opinion, and the most likely to prevent them returning.
This is the first time I have dealt with any of this, and some things are still a little hazy, as I'm sure some details may be lost in translation!
I have no idea what the injections are, or what the prognosis is etc.
Any info/experiences you might have would be much appreciated.
