HELP!!!!

I am looking to do a little natural horsemanship in hand stressless dressage test with my 2 year old!!

Or so I thought! Had a little look at the test and it asks for turn on the forehand? I know how to do this onboard but have never done it in hand :(

Any tips on how to do this please????

Bet you do know how to do it inhand -each time you ask your horse to move over, it's the basis for TOTF.

Just standing by your horses head, if you turn your body towards his tail and 'point' at the girth area and say 'over', does that work? If not, you may need to put a little pressure on/just behind the girth area. It may help just to turn his head slightly towards you too, so he gets the idea that the front end should stay put.

Th trick is teaching them to go one step at a time, without doing more than pivot on the 'right' front leg! Our cob is very sure a large circle is required and if you want me to pirouette like a fairy, you'll need to teach me, slowly, from the start every time :D

I'm sure you'll have other answers that probably give other tips, or the same ones worded more clearly! Good luck :)
