Turning out into new field tomorrow morning...

We have just finished fencing an additional 6 acres and plan to christen it tomorrow. Worried about my mare as she is recovering from lameness and I think she might go a bit ape. Mind you, there is lots to eat in there and she will probably just put her head down and start gorging herself.

She will be going out with her 2 fieldmates, Ruby, who is quite highly strung, and little Nancy, section B, sweetest pony in the whole world and very grounded. The field is sectioned into three paddocks.

Any advice?

Put the other horse out first - and hour later put out your mare.

They'll all have finished wizzing around by then.
