Been at our new yard a couple of months and moved over to summer fields a few weeks ago. Our boy has always been good to turn out just walk him in turn to face the gate and remove headcollar, no problem. Since moving to summer fields he is off as soon as we get through the gate, no time to turn he's just off. He doesn't pull or drag on the way to the field, he has really good ground manners and never drags or barges and just walks quietly by your side. I thought that it was just over excitement being in a new field with new friends and would settle down but it hasnt. I've tried taking treats but once through the gate he isn't interested also doesn't matter if his first or last he still does it. Any ideas?
