Hey ?
We had one of our fields cut for hay about 3 weeks ago. I kept them off it on another field to let it recover a bit after the dry weather. It’s had a bit of rain and is starting to green up a bit more and is now at least an ok length.
I’ve raked out any bits of missed hay from the bailer that have started to go black ? raking obviously isn’t perfect though so there are still the odd strands of hay moulding. There are also quite big patches of brown/orange grass that’s stil toasted from the dry weather.
Would you turn out on this?
I’d like to because it is the field I can turnout all 3 in without needing a hand as it’s right by the barn. I’d also quite like t
o give my other paddocks some rest.
thanks in advance for the advice and thoughts.
