Turnout boots for protecting heels.

My pony has an overreach injury and I need turnout boots that will protect her heel from the mud in certain parts of the field.

Can anyone recommend?

would they not aggrevate it more if they rubbed. We use hardy chaps which would prob provide some protection and don't rub ordinarily but I think they would irritate compromised skin.

I'm thinking of something to go over a bandage so hopefully wouldn't rub.

ah excellent was just a thought .

Of those tried (inc sportabac and derby house) the equichaps fit longer and are certainly tougher (thicker neoprene) and last longer.

Thanks, I wasn't too sure as from the pictures online it looked as though only the Shires ones came right down over the heel.
