I have a very thin skinned TB, who loves to play with his field companion. As a result he often comes in at night with knocks and scrapes on his lower legs.... which then become inflamed. Was wondering if anyone could recommend turnout boots ... and if so what sort? Have never used them...
The only alternative will be to seperate my two boys, but I really don't want to do that as their play is very sweet and otherwise harmless...
Any suggestions gratefully received... Thank you

I just turn my mare out in her ww brushing boots they seem to do the trick!
Im too stingy to buy turnout boots when her brushing boots do the same job

o thanks... do legs get hot in them at this time of year ? I wondered if turnout boots allowed for this kind of thing?

I just use some robinsons brusing boots on my mare. Well I used to. At my last yard she had a thing about injuring herself alot. I find these boots are very easy to wash and they aren't expensive or leather etc so you can afford to let them get a bit wrecked. Also they don't fall down like turnout chaps you can get.
These are the ones I use.

I use the neoprene brushing boots.
