I clipped my mares legs off today, to find she has some mud fever and both her back legs
she is prone to it, and her field is quite muddy near the gate which we need to fence off. Thinking of getting some turnout boots for her, but have been told you can't put them on while she has mud fever as it will make it warm and cause it to spread! Is this true? Does anyone have any good/bad experiences with using turnout boots to stop mud fever? Thanks
