turnout chaps - opinions please

Thinking of getting my feathery cob some turnout chaps but are they any good?? And what brands are best?? Thanks

keeping bumped.... as my youngster is on box rest with 4 white legs and bad mud fever... im thinking of getting some for next year.......

I have used most makes and liked the equilibrum ones best. I used to sprinkle the mud fever powder inside before putting on and washed them every night and dried on the radiator [ not the best smell so I got two sets]
I found them great I got a horse over mud fever even though they should be used before they get it. He then never got it again but wore the boots when our field was muddy

That's the make I was looking at they look to be the best quality. He doesnt suffer (touch wood) with mud fever but it does worry me as he seems to like the part oif the field that resembles a mud bath
