I apologies in advance, this is a pathetic question!

Im doing my first affiliated test in just over a week; I was looking through my BD magazine & I couldn't help noticing that every horse was wearing a white saddle cloth.

Is it compulsory to wear a white saddle cloth?

Will I look very silly if Im not wearing a white saddle cloth?

Am I imaging the white saddlecloth thing?

(I know this is all very petty; but given Im not riding a typical dressage pony, I dont want anything to make us look more out of place!)

Sorry for my dumbness.....

a white saddlecloth isn't compulsory, you can wear any natural coloured saddlecloth, there are plenty of people who don't use white

So long as it is black brown or white it doesnt matter. I use a black mattes dressage numnah, not a saddlecloth. I only use a white saddlecloth for the regionals.
