is it ok to use a turnout for stable, i managed to get a cheap rambo full neck turnout that is too light for turnout but perfect for stable, i take it it is ok? Never done it before but i pursume no reason why not!

As long as it is a breathable rug then there is no reason why you cannot do this. I always buy the fal turnout rugs and use them in the stable.

My horse will wear his turnouts inside. The only stable rug I have is a Masta and its rubs his shoulders. I prefer to leave them on if wet too, a damp rug dries quicker on the horse. If you take it off chances are it will still be wet in the monring and cold, so you can't put it on then!

I'm all for leaving turnouts on in the stable.

We leave turnouts on in the stable when they come in damp or wet.
As long as they're breathable and taken off for a short time so the horse can scratch I can't see a problem.

I have used my rambo's for turnout and stable for years now. It reduces the amount of rugs and works so very well. In poor rainey weather I bring horses in, rambo wet on outside within 30 mins they are dry. Even will put a rambo on a wet horse as they are so breathable.
